I don’t care much for the other days, although I really want to see Incubus again, I just want to go on the 19th!

Blink-182, Foo Fighters, Incubus, Bon Jovi, and Skrillix headlining?!? HOLY. SHIT.

Now I need to figure out a way to get about $230 and I’ll be fucking there!

Foo Fighters, Izod Center, September 26
First time seeing them live and it was by far, HANDS DOWN, the best concert I have ever been to.
Got to the arena 4:30 and waited on the GA line with my friend Matt. Not too many people in front so I knew we would have awesome spots in the pit. We went in at 6 and we got the side barrier on the right side. From where I was standing, Dave Grohl was going to stand 5 feet away from me. 5 FUCKING FEET. RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME.
The first band came on which was Mariachi El Bronx. I had no idea who they were and I joked before the show that they were probably going to be a Mexican punk band but it was actually A FUCKING MARIACHI BAND. And they were actually decent! I kinda liked them.
Rise Against was next. I pretty much only know their most popular songs and every song that they played I knew. They were fucking awesome. Crazy energy. Crowd was very into them and I was very impressed. I’ll have to check out the rest of their music.
Then the moment I have been looking forward to for months. In fact, YEARS. Foo fighters came on and opened with Bridge Burning and I was going absolutely crazy. Crowd was INSANE. Dave walked to the end of the stage and was 5 fucking feet away from me rocking the fuck out. He looked right into my eyes and smiled! HE FUCKING LOOKED RIGHT AT ME. And that wasn’t the only time; everytime he went to the end of the stage he would always look at me as I yell for him. He would always just smile. When I yellod” I fucking love you Dave Grohl!”, he mouthed to me “I fucking love you too.” HOLY. SHIT.
Best moments of the night had to be My Hero, which is quite possibly my favorite Foo Fighters song and KRIST FUCKING NOVOSELIC playing the accordion on These Days. I never fucking thought I would see the two surviving members of Nirvana on the same stage, EVER. Such an amazing moment and performance. Then of course, THEY COVERED PINK FLOYD’S IN THE FLESH. I went absolutely batshit crazy. One of my favorite Pink Floyd songs and the cover was flawless. All My Life was absolutely mental. I don’t think I have ever rocked out that much at a concert, ever.
They came back after a hilarious encore break (they were shown backstage figuring out how many songs they should play in the encore. Dave and Taylor are fucking hilarious.) and played 7 SONGS in the encore. They closed with Everlong, of course, and that was it. I wanted MORE.
Here’s some crazy shit. Taylor Hawkins threw one of his drumsticks into the crowd. And guess who caught it?! ME. I FUCKING CAUGHT IT. I HAD TAYLOR FUCKING HAWKINS’ DRUMSTICK IN MY HANDS. But what happened? This fucking bitch behind me started to grab it out of my hands and I was trying to get here away from me. Kept fighting with her to let go until one of the event staff told us to stop. I told him that I caught it and she’s trying to take it away from me. And do you know what he said? HE SAID THAT IT’S HERS. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! FUCKING. BULLSHIT. She fucking stole MY DRUMSTICK that I FUCKING CAUGHT. I let go and she just walked away. Fucking bitch. I was so pissed off, but you know what, I touched Taylor Hawkins’ drumstick. I had it in my fucking hands. That’s pretty awesome! It would’ve been better if I fucking kept it, but whatever. I hope that fucking bitch was happy.
25 songs. 3 FUCKING HOURS. Absolutely crazy. Best fucking concert ever. Dave Grohl really is a Rock God. No, he IS the Rock God.

Post-Concert Depression
I wish I could go back and relive last night. Best night of my life.

Hands down, by far, the greatest concert I have ever been to.
Foo Fighters fucking tore the roof off the fucking place. They were absolutely incredible. And I almost caught Taylor Hawkins’ drumstick. Well I did catch it but some fucking bitch ripped it out of my hands and I tried to get it back but event staff told her she could have it. I was so fucking pissed. But I did have his drumstick in my hands, which is awesome!
